CrossFit Avalanche FAQ

Aren't I too "xxxx" for CrossFit?
We have all walks of life in our gym. You may walk in feeling too fat, injured, old, or out of shape but keep on walking in that door three or more times a week and you will be on the fast track to fitness. How we handle new clients is to guide through workouts and use modifications when necessary. These modifications typically consist of less weight, less repetitions, less sets or less rounds. Each exercise has what we call progressions. These progressions can be boiled down to foundations skills of movement that most anybody can be successful with.

What is the cost?
This is not your typical gym experience. Therefore it does not have parallel costs. The absolute best part is CrossFit produces unparalleled results. If you compare our prices to any group fitness they are comparable.
In addition to equipment and facility costs your membership costs apply towards the expertise of the Certified CrossFit Trainer. Your typical gym experience relies on you to know what exercises to do and for you have the discipline and motivation to do it. Very little guidance accompanies the standard gym membership which highly increases boredom, injury, and lackluster results. This is personal training at a fraction of the cost.
Our trainer is there with you every step of the workout to guide you to proper form, reduce risk of injury, and instill confidence in your athletic abilities. Our clients find great value in our method of training that justify any costs associated with their membership. If you don’t believe us, just ask any of them!

How often should I workout at CrossFit?
We recommend that our clients workout three of more times a week. Our Unlimited Membership is a true value when utilized three or more times a week. Some of our members come five to six times a week.

What if I can’t come three times a week?
We do have clients that workout two times a week because their schedule doesn’t allow them to be here more. We have a discounted monthly package that is based on two classes per week for four weeks at a reduced price. Many of our clients that wanted to save a few bucks start on the two times a week membership end up on the Unlimited because they are enjoying CrossFit so much that they want to come more often.

I heard that CrossFit is really hard, is it too hard for me?
CrossFit is as hard as you make it. We encourage people to push to the limits of their own tolerances but only you can make the most out of your own workouts with the amount of work you put into them.

I am from out of town, can I still workout at CrossFit?
Yes! Find a class time that works for you while you are in town and we would be glad to have you. **Please respect that "First Class Free" is intended to attract future members and does not apply to traveling guests.**

Please make the trainer aware of any injuries that you may have and what amount of CrossFit experience you already have. If you have additional questions send us an email or give us a call before your visit.
